Showy Aster is a perennial flower native to western North America. It can be found in forest openings and understory, one to three feet tall in height. From July to October, attractive violet to blue flowers with yellow centers bloom in flat topped arrangements. Showy aster Spreads by seed or rhizomes can fill in large spaces, attracting birds and various pollinators.
